You can access it on your phone, tablet, laptop or computer. Go to mobile.reinz.co.nz in your browser on any device. Then, log in using your REINZ ID and password.

On your phone or tablet, you’ll be prompted to add the REINZ Companion to your home screen, where it will appear with an icon similar to a regular app. You can also add it this way:
Apple (iPhone or iPad)
Open the REINZ Companion in your browser and tap the Share icon
Select “Add to Home Screen”
Tap “Add”
Android
Open the REINZ Companion in your browser
Tap the three-dot menu in the top right
Select “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”
Tap “Add” or “Install”
On desktop or laptop, you can bookmark it in your browser, create a desktop shortcut for faster access, or install it by adding it to the laptop Taskbar. To install it on your laptop, click on the circle at top right with your initials, then ‘Install app’. The REINZ Companion will be added to the Start menu and taskbar instantly.

No. The REINZ Companion isn’t available through an app store. Instead, it works through your browser, so you can access it easily across different devices without needing to install updates from an app store.
You can also save it to your phone or tablet screen, to access it easily. On desktops or laptops, you can bookmark it in your browser or create a desktop shortcut for faster access.

No. If you’re a REINZ member, simply log in using your existing REINZ ID and password – the same details you use for the REINZ website and other REINZ tools.

For headshots, please use JPEG, PNG or WebP files with a maximum file size of 5MB. The ideal dimensions are 400 × 400 px (square), and minimum dimensions are 300 × 300 px
For your company logos or brand images, PNG files are preferred, but you can also use JPEG or WebP files. The maximum file size is 5MB, with ideal dimensions of 800 × 400 px (landscape). The minimum dimensions: 400 × 200 px.
Please note, transparent PNG files often work best for company logos and brand images.

You can access the REINZ Companion on mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. It’s designed to work across modern browsers and operating systems, so if your device can access the internet through a browser, the REINZ Companion should work. Some functionality may vary slightly on older devices or operating systems.

The overall experience and features are designed to be consistent across devices, but some layouts and functions may vary slightly depending on screen size and device type.

Yes. You’ll need to be connected to either Wi-Fi or mobile data to use the REINZ Companion.

REINZ manages personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the REINZ Privacy Policy. Information accessed through the REINZ Companion is handled securely and is used to support your access to REINZ tools, products and services.

In the REINZ Companion, go to the My Profile section, click the About tab, then scroll down to Data & Privacy. You’ll find links to the Privacy Policy and related information there.

The REINZ Companion will soon support more secure access to REINZ platforms and tools – such as eForms – through multi-factor authentication (MFA) and stronger controls around data access. This will help protect member accounts and sensitive information, while making access to REINZ products more secure and streamlined. More information on MFA will be available soon.

When you’re logged into the REINZ Companion, click on the bell icon on the right-hand side. At the bottom of the notices, click ‘Turn on push notifications’. To turn them off, click ‘Turn off push notifications’.
Please note, you may also have to go into your browser settings and allow push notifications from there.

No. There’s nothing to be concerned about. Some devices display this message because their security systems are cautious about tools that aren’t downloaded through a traditional app store such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.
The REINZ Companion is accessed securely through your browser and can then be added to your home screen for easier access. The REINZ Companion is safe to use.
What is the REINZ Companion, and why has REINZ created it?
The REINZ Companion is a new digital tool that brings together useful insights, tools and resources in one place. It’s designed to support all real estate professionals in their day-to-day work, whether you’re in the office or on the go, through a more connected and flexible digital experience.
Soon, it will also support more secure access to REINZ tools and products, with additional security features planned to roll out shortly.
